CustomLink Final_October_o-06.png

Imagine having the power to monitor your home and keep your family and pets safe wherever you are. Even when you’re out of the house, you can monitor your home from your mobile phone.

This means you can easily welcome your guests and deter intruders with a state-of-the-art security system, because you’ll always know when someone else is around.

What’s more, the Intelligent Security System uses a simple interface that syncs with your mobile phone, so you will have access to your home security at your fingertips.

Now home security is more than just reacting. When you combine indoor automation with outdoor detection you can make your property undesirable to potential intruders by including:

  • alarms and sirens

  • voice warnings

  • timed lighting

… using current technology means fully securing your home has never been easier and more reliable.

Whether you want a simple indoor alarm or a full intelligent security solution for your whole property, CustomLink will give you expert and professional advice to ensure you are protected.

Best of all, the intelligent security system provides multiple layers of protection, unlike our competitors. Each layer, or module, can be installed in stages for when you’re ready. And for complete peace of mind, each model is rigorously tested before we recommend these to our clients.

After all, we’re not just providing security, we’re giving you security with intelligence.

Your First Layer of Protection… fence line, gates and boundary access points

Gate_SMALL.jpg

This first layer of protection uses sensors on your gates, fence line and boundary access points to detect intruders before they enter your property.

When you are home the following features occur with the first layer of protection:

  • the system generates a voice alert to let you know each time any gate is open or closed. This security feature allows you to open or close your gates at your control.

  • when any gate is opened, the system turns on the TV to display the videos captured on the cameras monitoring the gates and access areas.

What’s more, if you are watching TV or a movie, the system will pause the movie, switching the screen to the CCTV channel so you can instantly see what triggered the alarm

  • when any gate is left open for longer than a specified time (i.e. 2 minutes), the system generates a voice alert to let you know, so you can automatically close the gate if you choose, assuming the gate is motorised.

When you are not home the following features occur with the first layer of protection:

  • if any gate is opened, the system will trigger sirens and notify your mobile phone of an intrusion and/or your security monitoring company.

  • The siren alert sequence includes sending you an email with screenshots from the cameras monitoring the area.

Between sunset and sunrise, if any gate is open, the lights along the fence line will turn on. The lights will switch off after a specified time or once the gate is closed.

Your Second Layer of Protection… the yards around your home

Cover or Better Ways 4.jpg

This next layer of protection uses special outdoor sensors to detect intruders before they get close to the doors of your home.

When you are home the following features occur with the second layer of protection:

  • the system generates a voice alert to let you know which area has been violated or which sensor has detected movement.

  • the system turns on the TV to display the videos captured on the cameras monitoring the yards around your home, including pool areas.

What’s more, if you are watching TV or a movie, the system will pause the movie, switching the screen to the CCTV channel so you can instantly see what triggered the alarm.

When you are not home the following features occur with the second layer of protection:

  • if any sensor detects movement, the system will trigger sirens and notify your mobile phone of an intrusion and/or your security monitoring company.

  • The siren alert sequence includes sending you an email with screenshots from the cameras monitoring the area.

Between sunset and sunrise, if any sensor detects movement, the lights in the yard, around the pool and nearby areas will turn on.  The lights will switch off after a specified time or if the sensor shows no more movement.

Your Third Layer of Protection… along the outside walls of your home

2019 Product Catalogue A4 Fold Top - Fro

This third layer of protection uses different types of outdoor sensors to protect along the walls of your home.

When someone gets close to the wall the system be triggered and respond in a similar way to your second layer of protection, to ensure intruders are stopped before they get close to the doors of your home.

If you feel secure enough with the second layer of defence, you can choose not to install the third layer of protection.

Your Fourth Layer of Protection and Automation… the external windows and doors of your home

Alarms.jpg

The protection system on your external doors, garage doors, and external windows is similar to the protection layer on your perimeter gates.

The system lets you know each time the door is opened or when any door or window is left open for too long.

The system can be integrated to your lights so they also turn on when a door is opened. This is beneficial not only for security but also for automation. The automatic lighting is useful when you arrive home after dark.

You can choose to have your doors motorised, so the doors can be closed and locked with the intelligent security system.

Or you can have electronic locks installed on the doors, which notifies the system if any door is unlocked. You can choose to lock the doors automatically and/or remotely.

Best of all, an integrated automation feature, which is part of this security layer, is the “leaving home” module. Simply say "I am leaving home" as you are about to leave and the system will automatically:

  • turn on the lights leading to the garage

  • open the garage doors

  • open the driveway gate

  • close the blinds

  • close the gate

  • close the garage doors

  • turn off all lights, and

  • start the “night light” pattern simulating switching on the lights as if you were at home

The integrated automation features used to turn off lights, appliances, close doors, etc are beneficial for creating a seamless and efficient lifestyle, while integrating security to protect your family and your home.

Your Fifth Layer of Protection and Automation… inside your home

shutterstock_1379892542.jpg

This fifth layer of protection uses sensors inside your home, which work similarly to the sensors outside your home.

However, because you may be moving inside your home, you can have the Voice Alert mode automatically turned off before bedtime, except for the rooms you may want to constantly monitor.

Best of all, you can automatically turn the Voice Alert on/off within individual rooms before you enter or after you leave.

If movement is detected inside your home, in an area away from where you and your family, then the Voice Alert and automatic lights will be activated.

The automatic lights use sensors similar to the Voice Alert. However, only the light sensors in the living areas are turned on after bedtime, the rest are turned on automatically at sunset. This allows lights to turn on wherever you go within your home.

Best of all, the integrated automation feature, which is part of this security layer, is the integration of lights, music and home theatre modes. The music feature works similarly to the lights. The music can turn on wherever you walk within your home… in living areas, the kitchen, the bathroom or even walking in the garden.

The home theatre automation feature can play movies on command, using voice activation or Siri. When a movie starts the security system will be set into “movie-alert” mode (ensuring that video footage is shown on the TV if any movement is detected at any sensor). In addition, lights will dim in preparation for the movie, blinds will close and the volume will be adjusted automatically.

And a feature everyone loves is the lighting automation… before bedtime, any lights that are triggered by sensors are turned on at a high level of brightness that you choose. The lights turn on automatically in the rooms you enter to help you move around your home easily. After bedtime, the lights become dimmed to a low level to help your eyes and body adjust to relaxing before you go to sleep.

Intelligent Security Combined with Home Automation… Protection and Lifestyle

CBUS Lighting Control_2.jpg

With this automated integration, imagine the possibilities. On your way home tell Siri "I am coming home" to have the following sequence triggered:

  • The perimeter gate automatically opens

  • The garage door opens

  • Lights turn on

  • The alarm is disarmed

  • After you enter your home, the driveway gate and garage doors automatically close and lock.

Best of all, with number plate recognition cameras, the intelligent security system knows which garage door to open. When used with facial recognition software, this will add extra security to you and your family.

In addition to the intelligent security system, you can integrate convenience into your home with your automated scheduler.

Imagine the scheduler automatically…

  • opening blinds in the morning

  • closing blinds partially during the day and fully at night

  • turning on lights in the family and kitchen areas at a low level setting before sunset; full brightness when sunset begins; automatically turning off the dining and kitchen lights after dinner; and finally automatically turning off all lights at bedtime.

The scheduler can also…

  • turn on outdoor lights at different times

  • keep your garden green by turning on the sprinklers

  • monitor your underground water tank

  • monitor the water and oxygen levels in your fish tanks

  • monitor your wine fridge for the right temperature and alert you if it goes out of range or if the door is open.

With an Intelligent Security System, you can integrate your security protection with home automation, to create the lifestyle you want for you and your family.

Best of all, the entire system can be controlled from anywhere using your smartphone or laptop.

  • The entry door will be automatically locked.

  • When no movement is detected in the gym for a specified time, the music, TVs, air-conditioning and lights will turn off and the alarm system will be armed.

  • Members swipe their card at the door reader to unlock the door, which then disarms the alarm and turns on the lights, TVs, music and the air-conditioning.

  • In the case of an emergency, all members in the gym wear an emergency pendant. When the pendant is pressed, the security system sends a signal to the 24-hour monitoring company. The monitoring company checks the cameras or calls the onsite intercom to verify the situation before calling the emergency service.

Audio and Video Scheduling

CAW 24 Hour Gym (3).JPG
  • The TVs are scheduled to have different channels for all the TVs at different times of the day to suit the gym requirements.

  • The music is scheduled to automatically adjust the volume level at different times of the day. For example, the volume will be at a low volume after 8pm and even lower after 10pm and a bit louder at 5am and then up to normal volume at 7am.

  • The TV channels can be controlled via smartphones, tablets and/or your PCs. This makes it easy to change the channel of individual TVs when there are several next to each other. By pressing an icon, the channels are changed instantly.

CCTV and Remote Security Operation

The intelligent security system can be used to monitor specific areas without requiring the expense of electronically locked doors.

The features include:

  • If someone enters a valid credential (key card, fingerprint or keycode), then that person will be granted access for the amount of time pre-programmed for that user.

  • The person must enter their valid credential upon leaving the area. If not, an alert will be generated if they are in the area for longer than required.

  • If someone is inside the area and there’s no movement detected, then the system will generate an alert.

  • If the sensor or camera detects movement in the area and no valid credential has been entered, the system will generate an alert.
